Bang Bang
It... wasn't supposed to be like this...
Crash
But I guess it had to happen sometime, right?

The time is 6:15 pm, early evening in the Bronx. Emelia has had a rough day. And all she wants to do is kick off her shoes, nuke some frozen tacos and maybe watch a Collin Firth movie. She sighs with relief as the elevator dings up to her floor. She's the only person on this floor, although it's not hard to see why. In this time of near-hell, people like to be closer to the ground. She turns the corner, wondering if she should dig out the waffles as well when a sight makes her pause.
Her apartment door is wide open.
Emelia adjusts her uniform, thanking whatever gods are up there that she brought her gun home from work. She slips the little baby from it;s holster and creeps towards the door. She peers in. The apartment doesn't seem too roughed up. Just a few things moved around. And... someone with their back towards her. Summoning what's left of her authority, she bursts in, kicking the door for good measure and holds the gun out in front of her. "FREEZE! POLICE!"
Whatever it is.. pauses. and looks at her. It says something, but all she can see is the thing he's holding. Oh no... poor Pess... Her eyes harden. He. Killed. My. Fucking. Dog.
She fires.

The dog was far too loud. The yapping followed Switch around the apartment as he walked about, looking for anything vaguely valuable to lift. He eventually sighed, running his hands through his hair. "Look.. 'pess'. Shut it or I'll make you."
The canine clearly had no intention of stopping, and only yipped harder. He groaned, patting down his pockets for something to shut the thing up before someone noticed. Finding nothing, he shrugged as his mind supplied the best course of action. So, he belted the thing over the head. And it dropped like a rock. Now, Switch wasn't entirely heartless. The thing was still breathing, and he picked it up in order to place it somewhere he couldn't trip over it. Well, until a voice behind him made him freeze.
He turned to face a horrified looking young woman. Oh. A horrified looking young woman holding a gun. He could see her eyes dart to the sleeping dog and up to his face. Whoops... better explain yourself buddy...
Then he felt a pain rip through his shoulder. ... She fucking shot me!
He staggered back, dropping the Yorkie onto the floor. The second bullet whizzing past his ear, he dove behind the couch. He could hear her coming around. The logical thing to do was trip her. So he did.
Right into the glass panel that separate her from a twelve story drop.
Too bad the glass wasn't that strong.
(OOC: Hope that's enough for you to start on dude ^^ Needless to say, my other posts won't be as long as this @_@)

A boy walks down the streets of the usually bustling city. Manhattan was all but deserted at the time, however. The only ones who remained were the brave, the foolish, and those with nowhere else to go, like the boy.
He looked to be about seventeen, and his dark skin and jet black hair allowed him to blend with the sooty surroundings relatively easily, though he was not trying to. His blue shirt was worn and tattered, and had been patched many times, which had also worn through at the elbows. His faded jeans suffered a similar fate, the frayed cloth at the knees looking like it might simply fall apart and let his ankles free of the fabric at any moment.
The boy walked slowly, scanning the streets with chocolate eyes. Things were so desolate now that the Demons had arrived, and-
BANG! BANG!
His thoughts were cut short by the sound of gun shots from above his head. he spun ninety degrees on the spot, looking up. Someone was fighting up there, and they had a gun. That was all he needed to know. He began to summon his insects to him, happy to find that there were a very large number of moths and flies in the area.
He was about to fly up, having the insects carry his thin frame up to whatever floor the fighting was going on in, when the window shattered. Damn.... time for a new plan. He raised a hand, as if to catch the woman with it. His swarm flew up toward her on a collision course with him at the center, braced for impact.
The woman wasn't particularly heavy. However, moving at the speed gravity had accelerated her to over seven floors of free fall, Sebastian considered himself lucky no to have broken any of his relatively brittle bones, and even more so that he had only been knocked down another two levels, still three clear of the deadly pavement.
He descended quickly, setting the woman down with a forced, reassuring smile. She looked terrified, but that could just be from nearly becoming the metaphorical bug on a windshield. However, the police uniform was enough to prove it to him hat whoever she had been shooting at was the real danger. He glanced up, then rose off the ground, his insects carrying him to the broken window...]

He blinked in surprise as the woman flew right through the window, screaming all the while. His initial instinct was to lunge forward in some late attempt to reverse his actions, but gravity decided that she wasn't happy and decided to trip him. So it was that he landed face first into plush carpeting while he woman succumbed to her fate. Or so he thought.
Then he felt something moving by his head. Peering up grumpily, he noted a small moth struggling towards the window. As if it wanted to get somewhere. Not today dude he thought, bringing his hands down to flick it against the wall. After a moment, he picked himself up and waited expectantly. How odd. He didn't hear the sound of a body hitting the pavement, the screams of shocked bystanders... Nothing. He hesitated. Should I check?
Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you look at the situation), he was saved from deciding when he heard a faint buzzing noise. echoing through the broken window. He turned just in time to see some scrawny kid flying upwards in a cloud of bugs.
What. The. Fuck?
Switch took a step back, hand flying to his pocket for a marshmallow. Always paid to be prepared, right?

Sebastian landed lightly on the windowsill, crouching. He could feel the broken glass biting into the thin soles of his worn sneakers, but he could ignote the small cuts on the bottoms of his feet. After all, he had something to take care of at the moment, so what were a few cuts and some more damage to his already threadbare attire?
As he gained his balance in full, the moths and flies dispersed for the most part. A few of the larger moths remained on his body, though they mostly rested on his shoulders. This was, in part, so that they could reduce his weight slightly if he bagan to lose his balance, thus making it easier to stay perched on the thin rim of the opening. The other reason was that he thought Ati might like to see the insects when this was all done.
Seastian looked up slightly to lock eyes with the man. He wasn't what he had expected at all. To get a cop out a window without killing her first took either skill, numbers, or dumb luck. He had predicted either another mutant, busy smashing the room up a bit still, or a group of robbers with a few casualties. Instead, he found Switch. He breathed a slight sigh, shaking his head.
*Sigh*... should I even ask what happened here?
As he spoke, the words served a duel purpose. On the one hand, if he could end this without fighting, and just get either a surrendur or an explanation, he would be very happy. He was willing to take someone down if necessary, but that didn't mean he liked the idea.
However, his words also acted as a distraction from his other action, which was barely noticable anyways. His hands, which were gripping the windowsil for balance, seemed to be turning black. In reality, he was manipulating one of his favorite insects. Termites. They seemed to vanish as they left his skin, marching in a single file line through the woodwork. If this got rough, he was alrady starting to work on colapsing the only exit aside from the window, and the floor would be next, and only he would know where to step so it wouldn't collapse.]
